This is why we recommend taking out the Hotel Cancellation Plus Insurance from Europäische Reiseversicherung, for your best protection and peace of mind during your holiday in Austria.
Instead of the right of withdrawal under § 18 (1) no. 10 FAGG, our house applies the General Terms and Conditions for the Hotel Industry (AGBH 2006).
This means: you may cancel free of charge up to 3 months before arrival. From 3 months to 2 months before arrival, the cancellation fee is 30% of the booking price. From 2 months to 1 month before arrival it is 60%, from 1 month to 7 days before arrival it is 90%, and from 1 week before arrival — as with early departure — it is 100% of the booking price.
